About This Course

As face‑to‑face interviews become more widely used to capture perspectives from across diverse backgrounds, public officers need a strong foundation in interviewing approaches, practical techniques, and ethical considerations to conduct meaningful and reliable data‑collection.

This course aims to equip participants with the basics of how to effectively conduct short, face‑to‑face interviews with people from all walks of life. Through hands-on activities and guided practice, participants will develop the confidence to conduct high‑quality interviews and collect rich data for qualitative analysis.
